SUSA Academy Help dedicated and passionate players who don’t have the opportunity to play at highest level possible with their club teams or top level players looking to challenge themselves and compete at the elite level. Our players can continue to participate on local clubs and school teams while taking part in SUSA Academy Team Programs.
Our Academy Level teams (U10 -U14) participate in some of the top tournaments in the country; and those tournaments are a forum for players to test their skills and game awareness. Tournaments are also used by coaches as an additional means for player development. The Academy Level is a Competitive Environment, NOT a Result-Oriented Environment.
Our Junior and Senior Level Academy teams U15 - U18 participate in some of the top college showcases in the country. The college showcases are used as a forum for our juniors and seniors to showcase their talents, competitiveness and understanding of the game to some of the finest college coaches in the country. Junior and Senior Level Academy teams are Result and Performance Driven.
WHY THE ACADEMY?
SUSA THE ACADEMY program is an alternative to the frustrating shortfalls in soccer development displayed by most young players. This void is heavily influenced by coaching quality and the pressures to win at critical periods in the development process. Bridging the gap between club/travel soccer and school ball, SUSA will be selecting a small group of players, male and female, aged 7-17 for each of its Academy teams, who will be professionally trained and coached in a challenging but fun environment. At SUSA we are committed to the development of our players’ love for the game and their development as a player.
At the ACADEMY students can test their abilities against PLAYERS who come from different clubs and teams, who have EQUAL or BETTER soccer abilities. The passion for the game and the commitment from each Academy Player makes the ENVIRONMENT UNIQUE and the experience exceptional. In the Academy we can actually observe your progress throughout the program. We will witness your development as a soccer player, your coordination, your touch with the ball and your game intelligence.
