Join us this summer for informational events to prepare and assist you with the college selection process.

Senior Summer 2019 Workshops

Location: SUSA Smithtown (905 West Jericho Turnpike Smithtown, NY)


Junior Player/Parent College Process with Recruitment Prep – October 17, 2019

Junior players and parents will be guided through the college selection and recruitment process. Tips for campus visits, course recommendations, SAT/ACT timeline and prep, coach communication pointers, and financial planning will be discussed.

Sophomore Player/Parent – Recruitment Prep – November 14, 2019

Sophomore players and parents will be informed of grade-level appropriate steps and academic guidelines. NCAA requirements will be thoroughly reviewed for player preparation. 

Freshmen Player/Parent – Preliminary College Process – February 12, 2020 

(snow date February 26, 2020)

Freshmen players and parents will be introduced to the college and recruiting process. Student and parent expectations will be outlined and students will be invited to register to SportsRecruits at this time for recruitment purposes. 

College Panel – all grade levels – March 2020 TBD

A panel of admissions and college soccer coaches will share their expertise with parents and players of all high school grade levels. NCAA rules and regulations with regard to the recruitment process will be discussed along with the parallel academic recruitment process. All NCAA Divisions and both men’s and women’s coaching staff will be represented.

A college fair is an excellent opportunity to expand your college knowledge. Meet with and gather information from 200+ college and universities.

The financial challenge of college can be overwhelming for families. Mr. Alan Tanenblatt of Ron-Tan Enterprises will discuss the intricacies of College Financial Aid.  Mr. Tanenblatt has more than 25 years of experience assisting families with a process many find intimidating. He will explain the financial aid forms and discuss strategies for getting the most financial aid possible.
