The SUSA CARES Foundation furthers our Club’s mission of uniting the community through soccer, bringing joy to people, and being a force for good in our community by supporting critical programs and bringing the SUSA spirit wherever we go.

who we are

Here at SUSA FC Academy, we believe in using our platform as one of the largest youth academies in New York state to be an active part of the community. Our state of the art facility serves as an invaluable community resource, hosting everything from charity walks, toy, coat, and blood drives to food banks and fundraisers for our in-house scholarship fund. We use our office facilities for educational purposes, including coaching and mentoring. Additionally, we take pride in helping low income communities and athletes in Guinea, and of course, we continuously use the influence and love of soccer for good.

SUSA CARES SUNRISE WALKS

SUSA Cares hosted the 3rd Annual Sunrise Walks! We were able to raise over 30k and send multiple children with cancer to camp this summer! Take a look at the video to see how the event turned out.

MENTAL HEALTH RUN

SUSA Cares hosted their first annual mental health run at Connetquot High School with kids from all over the island. The goal is to spread important messages about reducing stress and anxiety, building relationships, and supporting students' mental and physical health.

SUSA CARES car wash project guinea!

G11, G10, and G08 Carolina teams came together for a car wash fundraiser to raise money for children in Guinea. We raised over $1,200, which will be used to ship clothes, shoes, and other essentials to those in need.

SUSA Cares collected donations to be sent to the athletes in Guinea including uniforms, athletic apparel, backpacks, and cleats. We got over 450 pounds of cleats, and 13 bundles of uniforms.

SUSA CARES central islip civic center holiday drive

SUSA Cares spread holiday cheer at the Central Islip Civic Center through our yearly food, toy, and coat drive! Thanks to everyone's support, we made sure families in our community had warmth, full tummies, and toys for a delightful holiday season.

Community service guidelines

All Players that wish to participate in community service must contact the Director of SUSA Cares, Jenn McGay with intended dates for community service hours prior to the event.
Once approved by Jenn McGay for community service, you MUST provide a log from the school/organization that you will be completing service hours for, to be filled out IN PERSON, on the DAY of the event.
