Gianna Paul Signs With NWSL Team Kansas City Current

SUSA Academy alum Gianna Paul, G04 ECNL, of Huntington Station, has signed a three-year deal with the NWSL’s Kansas City Current through 2028. She is the second SUSA alum to reach the NWSL.

From Huntington, Long Island to the Pros

Paul grew up in Huntington Station and developed through SUSA’s ECNL pathway on Long Island before earning a scholarship to Alabama, and now, a pro contract.

Gianna Paul’s Alabama Stats

Over four seasons from 2022 to 2025, she became Alabama’s all-time leader with 40 goals, 94 points, and 279 shots. She is a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-American, the first in program history, and was named 2022 SEC Freshman of the Year along with two First Team All-SEC selections.
